My Scraps and More: Run Paris

This week, the design team at My Scraps and More showcased creating layouts from 6x6 paper pads!  I was given one of my favorites:  the lovely Pink Paislee Atlas to work with for my page!

I started with a circle background cut file from the Silhouette shop. Then I got out a few of my circle hand punches and started adhering different patterns to the center of the circles. 

I loved using the smaller papers as it shows off the patterns a bit more!

I included some of the Atlas Ephemera pieces from my stash such as this cute pink tag! I also love the acetate stars too!

I used different strips of patterns at the top and bottom of my page and then stitched through with my sewing machine!

My Scraps and More: Spider Pug

Today on the My Scraps and More forums, I have a Friday Free For All challenge using Crate Paper's new After Dark collection! I am a huge fan of Halloween and love love love this line! I couldn't wait to create a layout!  

I used up some of my AC Thickers...I thought the glitter black foam ones would be perfect. I also added some of the stickers from the 6x12 sheet as well as pieces of ephemera. 

More stickers as well as fun wooden veneer shapes and coordinating enamel dots!

Loving the pennant stickers! Had to add some to the bottom of my photo!

 I added the chipboard spider web to the upper corner of my page..goes well with my title!

My Scraps and More: Got Talent Challenge #13!

Happy Friday!! Today on the My Scraps and More forums and FB group I have the next 

Got Talent challenge! For your page, you need to create a list; whether it be a top ten, a list of favorites, or events in your life right now.  

For my page, I typed out ten random facts about my daughter, Hailey! I used Simple Stories' I Am collection (which never gets old!).  

My title are black foam Thickers from American Crafts....they go with pretty much any project!  I added a cute heart/arrow from the I Am collection as well as a gold foil chipboard heart and coordinating enamel dots! 

I tend to use my typewriter for journaling....makes my pages so much more neat!  I should really use my handwriting...but I don't always like how it looks.

I heart banners!! Love this gold accented chipboard banner! 

 I also added in this wood veneer word from Evalicious! When Audrey brought them into the MSAM shop, I bought all of them!  They are lovely for accenting your page or just as a title!

I added another small chipboard frame with more I Am embellishments!

My Scraps and More: Remember

Today on the My Scraps and More Forums I have a layout for the Mix It Up Monday Challenge using Dear Lizzy's new Documentary collection!  This line is so fun to create with as the prints are bold and the colors bright!

I used one of the Documentary Word Thickers for my title as well as added strips of Amy Tangerine's new thin washi from her new collection!  (that was a must have!) 

The ephemera pieces from Documentary are so cute without being too girly! Also, I am loving the wood veneer buttons!! 

Also new in this collection is a roller stamp with new sentiments!  I think I have pretty much all that AC has released LOL 

I used two of my hand punches to create this fun banner across the upper corner of my page! Of course, nothing is complete without some stitching! :)

My Scraps and More: Right Now

Hello! Sorry for my absence!  I've been working extra days at the office and then we went on a short trip to Michigan to see family. I haven't had much time at home at all!  

I'm sharing a layout I created recently using My Scraps and More Got Talent Challenge!  The challenge is to not use any patterned paper on your page!  So, I got out my washi tape stash and had fun layering!  

I added buttons and enamel shapes from my stash to coordinate with each colors!

I also added epoxy shapes and a photo clip from Studio Calico!  My title is American Craft Wood Grain Thickers. 

Along with buttons, I also used a couple pieces of flair from {a flair for buttons}!

My Scraps and More: Hello Ten

Time is flying around here.....not sure where it all goes but I'm sorry I haven't kept up with blogging.  This past week, I had a challenge on the My Scraps and More forums for a Word Up Wednesday.  I asked participants to hide their journaling underneath a photo or a flap on their page.  I used
 Echo Park's new Anything Goes collection that I ordered from the My Scraps and More shop!  I love the bright patterns and colors in this line!
 

 

 Two of the sheets in the collection have multi-sized journaling cards that you can cut out. I used this 3x4 card for mine and added a cute pennant sticker. 

 

There are also two 12x12 sticker sheets, as well. I love the multicolored alpha stickers!

I also added a few enamel dots and stars from Freckled Fawn that I had in my stash.

My Scraps and More: Beautiful

Today on the My Scraps and More forums, I have a challenge up for Word Up Wednesday! My challenge is to use the word "beautiful" on your page!  I used the new Pinkfresh Studio's

Up in the Clouds that I purchased in the MSAM shop!

 

 

 

 

I used one of the wood strips under my photo with some bakers twine from Whisker Graphics. 

 

 

Love these American Craft gold glitter Thickers! I had these in my stash and thought the gold would go nicely with the pinks and blues!

 

I used some Heidi Swapp Color Shine on this beautiful cut file from The Cut Shoppe!  I then added in wood beads and enamel hearts from Up in the Clouds. And I'm loving the ombre air mail print washi tape!! There are three different colors...I ordered the red and blue.

My Scraps and More Saturday Scraplift: Smile

This weekend, I have a scrap lift challenge up at the My Scraps and More forums! I used

Simple Stories' new Life Documented collection that I purchased in the MSAM shop.   

 

I was inspired by Brenda's bright sun rays so I decided to scraplift her page! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And here is my layout...I used the Amanda McGee Sunburst cut file from the Silhouette shop ( #47228). 

 

 My title is cut from white cardstock and the Simple Stories Cursive Smile cut file (#56585).

In one of the "rays" I placed some of the Life Documented Enamel Dots as well as chipboard pieces.

My Scraps and More: Life is Better with Friends

 

 Hello!  Sorry for my absence...I was lucky to attend this year's CHA in Anaheim. And since I've been back, I've been busy working in my scrap room! Lots of inspiration at the show! 

Today, I'm sharing a layout I created for My Scraps and More!  For my page, I used
Fancy Pants Designs' True Friend collection found in the MSAM shop.  This page was for a Mix It Up Monday Challenge!  I asked participants to use 4 patterned papers, 3 stickers/die cuts, 2 buttons/enamel dots, and 1 doily/tag. 

 

 

 

 

Love the cute little chipboard pieces with the button set!

 

 

 

More of the buttons from the collection, as well as a fun pennant sticker. These girls always seem to have a lot of fun when they are together.  

 

 

I used one of the sentiment stickers as my title.  True Friend is perfect for those BFF pages!  Hailey has known Savannah since kindergarten.  They no longer go to the same school but are still close; they crack me up every time they are together.
