I cannot believe 2012 is coming to a close. Where did the year go??
As a fun way to kick off the new year with the design team at Practical Scrappers, we are doing a Top Ten blog hop!
10. T Ball T Bow: A cute picture of my boy (who used to call t-ball "t-ball t-bo") using Jillibean Soup's Game Day Chili line. Believe it or not (ha!) this was my 3rd attempt of doing this layout.
9. Authentique's Glory canvas mini: Love how this one turned out! My first attempt at a canvas book.
8. Country Pumpkin Chowder: I heart Jillibean Soup! One of my top three favorite paper companies!
7. Sweet Afternoon: LOVE LOVE LOVE Teresa Collins! This is one of my all time favorite lines.
6. Trick or Treat! Smell My Feet!: This is one of the projects I did for the Clear Scraps DT. I love Authentique. I love Halloween. And I love making my own acrylic shapes!
5. Max the Pug: I created this layout for my submission for the Sketchabilities DT. I absolutely love Pink Paislee's Portfolio line! The colors are awesome! And I love my puggie!
4.My Mind's Eye All is Bright mini book: I created this Maya Road canvas book for The Scrapbooking Studio DT. All is Bright is one of my most favorite Christmas lines this year!
3. Vintage Finds Memory Binder: Again, LOVE Teresa! Vintage Finds was so fun to work with! There are so many great embellishments!
2. I Am Thankful: This is one of the new Clear Scrap products: the recipe holder. But, you can use it as a mini book! Love it! I used Simple Stories' Harvest Lane.
1. October Afternoon Midway mini book: I used the Here and Now book that comes with the collection. The bright patterns and cute embellishments really made this book fun to create!
Now, leave a comment before midnight December 31st and tell me your favorite memory of 2012! A random winner will win My Mind's Eye's Winter Wonderland collection!
Lastly, keep hopping and visit the very talented Kerri Yarus's blog!
Thanks for reading! -Jen

ReplyDeleteWow, favorite memory from an entire year.... I guess maybe when I made my first manufacturers dt this year. I was so super excited and my daughters were so happy for me, they couldn't quit smiling. At 10 & 13 it's nice to know they care about me so much. :)
Hmm hard to pick one favorite memory. I think it would be walking on the beach with the kids and getting caught in a rain storm. We were soaked and trying to run through sand and then just laughed about our state afterward.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Max the Pug!!! :) My favorite memory of 2012 would have to be when my dad found out in August that the old farm he had to sell 20 years ago (against his will) rewarded him when he needed it the most with a new oil rig. So very happy for him that he can retire in peace now.

Thanks for sharing these with us - they are fantastic! Love what you did with that canvas mini book! My favourtie memory from 2012 has got to be our trip to Disneyland in May. 5 fun filled days at the park and a STACK of layouts to keep those memories fresh!
ReplyDeleteFantastic layouts and projects. Huge talent. I love the Portfolio line too so your Max is one of my fave. A favorite memory for me is actually from Christmas. We have ALWAYS travelled at Christmas but since we moved back to our home state where all of our family is we got to wake up as a family of four in our own home, by ourselves. I loved it. My sons are getting older now and it is good to have this memory before they leave home.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous projects! I love the OA Midway mini book! Hmm...one of my favorite memories from 2012 is my son's first day of high school! It was just so exciting to see my little boy step into becoming a young man!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration! Love the layout you created using Portfolio! One of my favorite collections as well. :)
ReplyDeletewonderful projects...your Minis are beautiful! I really love the layout for max the pug! hmmm my favorite...that's a really hard one....its been an awful year...But my all time favorite moment was the summer trip to Maine...we make it every year but this year was really special! Wishing you a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeletelove all your projects Jen especially that Authentique Halloween LO! This is going to seem wierd, but my favorite memory of 2012 was a day spent fishing with my three kiddos and DH at the little catch and release lake just up the road from our house. My 7 yr old caught a huge 28inch catfish! The best part was hearing the story he told his grandparents about catching it and how he stared it down while it was in the water and it was making googley eyes at him...LOL!
ReplyDeleteKerri
