Happy "Gotcha Day"...

So one year ago today, I drove to St. Louis to pick up our sweet pug Max.  And what a year its been....he's such a loving, good natured dog. Max loves to interact with all people and animals. He's not afraid to drop right in front of a stranger's feet to demand a belly rub.  Today we are celebrating his "birthday".

I made this fun layout with My Mind's Eye's Cut and Paste collection.  I had taken Max through the Krispy Kreme drive thru and caught this photo. I absolutely love it.

Some of the fun buttons that come with the collection. I also added a sticker for some journaling on the side.

Love this icon from Chic Tags (the Everyday Life II collection). I popped this and the sentiment up with foam tape.

More buttons and enamel dots. Plus some splatter of ink from October Afternoon and Tattered Angels.

My title is made from KI Memories rub on letters as well as American Craft Thickers.

Thanks for reading and hope you have a great Friday night evening! We are just relaxing as a family after a very long week!

Sketchablities #83 reveal

Hi everyone! I'm back to share another fabulous sketch and layout for the Sketchabilities design team!  Be sure to check out the blog for lots of inspiration!

Here is a picture of sketch #83:

And here is my layout!  I used Basic Grey's What's Up collection along with a KI Memories Calendar page.

Here, I misted a doily with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Dragonfly.  I then took a punch and made two scalloped circles from vellum. I used my Martha Stewart butterfly trio punch and inserted them in between each scalloped circle. I finished by stitching around the edges.

Some of the cute kraft butterfly pins from Maya Road!

Love using flair! This one is from {a flair for buttons}!

Check back on the 30th for reveal of Sketch #84!  I am loving working with all of the sketches Karan comes up with!  Thanks for reading! Jen
