The Cut Shoppe: Snow Day

Today on The Cut Shoppe blog, I have a layout using some of the new, fun cut files perfect for this time of year!  I originally wanted to do a Christmas themed page but when I saw the Frosty Flakes cut file, I had to use it!  So, I went with a winter page instead!

I love the snowflakes in a circle pattern with the turquoise paper!  I used Elle's Studio Joyful collection for my page!

For my title, I cut the "snow day" from Bits and Baubles with silver foil paper.  I layered the letters on top of journaling cards from Joyful. I also added wood veneer shapes from Studio Calico as well as a cute flair button from {a flair for buttons}!

I used more of the journaling cards from Joyful as well as a cute cut out label to document about my photo. The enamel dots are from Echo Park Paper.

After adhering my cut file down as the background, I used some Heidi Swapp Color Shine as well as a mask from Studio Calico on the edges of my page.  I love how it turned out!

To add some more bling, I added sequins from my stash as well as more enamel dots!

My Scraps and More: Christmas Cookies

Sorry that I've been neglecting my blog!  Life has been busy and this week I've been sick. I can't seem to get caught up. I was hoping to scrap all weekend but have been doing more sleeping than playing with paper.  I'm hoping when the kids are on Christmas break I can get some crafting done!

Today I am sharing a layout I have up on the My Scraps and More blog.  If you haven't heard, MSAM is closing at the end of the month.  I'm very sad to hear this as I love being a part of the team as well as having a great community of fellow scrappers to challenge me! Plus, I can "talk shop" without worrying about annoying other people! LOL

I used Elle's Studio's Joyful collection for my page!  I love the non-traditional colors mixed in with the red and green!  I'm always a fan of grey and pink!

I had some Elle's Studio Pink Letter Stickers from a Paper Camellia kit so I thought they would be great for my title!

I used one of the journaling cards to accent my photo...again loving the grey!  I also added some Studio Calico wood veneer starburst and enamel dots from my stash.

I cut out one of the 2x2 squares from the sheet called "Oh What Fun" that has different sizes of snippets you can use.  I also added some of the lovely mini washi tape from Amy Tangerine to accent.

Showing one of the cute sentiments from Oh What Fun...love the grey and type print!

More items from my stash! I added a cute flair badge from {a flair for buttons} as well as a resin star from Freckled Fawn.

My Scraps and More: Hello Lovely

Today I'm sharing a layout that I had up on the My Scraps and More blog using Basic Grey's B-Side collection. I love the bright colors and prints of this line! I instantly thought about Hailey and scrapping a photo of her!  I used two cut files from The Cut Shoppe as well!

I cut my title from the Say The Word Cut File using the black print of one of the b sides. I think the black really helps the colors pop!

I layered pieces of ephemera from B-Side as well as added some cute flair from A Flair For Buttons.

The Cut Shoppe: Trick or Treat

Hello! Today on The Cut Shoppe blog I have a layout up using some new Halloween cut files! This is one of my absolute favorite times of the year!  Needless to say, I love scrapping about Halloween and fall!  I used Crate Paper's After Dark collection for my page.

For my background, I used the super cute Wacky Web cut file!

For my title, I used the "Trick or Treat" from Wicked Fun, as well as the star/circle border.

I added a cute web flair from {a flair for buttons}...I thought it went perfect with the paper!

My Scraps and More: Life is Sweet

Hello! Hope you are having a good weekend!  It's been beautiful here in Central Illinois...perfect summer weather!  One of my favorite summer treats is ice cream! Today I'm sharing a layout I created for a My Scraps and More challenge!  My husband and I enjoyed some delicious waffle cones at Six Flags in June and I took a fun photo of the two of us!

I used American Crafts Shimelle's True Stories collection for my layout. On my background, I used The Heart Burst cut file from The Cut Shoppe! I cut both the specialty vellum and a patterned paper and stitched through with my sewing machine.

I used a wooden veneer word title from Evalicious' Life's Sweet collection! I am so in love with these fun embellishments!

Here, I used one of the tags from the True Stories Die Cut shapes for my journaling. I also added a cute ruler and heart from the package. From my stash, I used some bright pink bakers twine from my stash, as well as fun flair from {a flair for buttons}.

I love how the layering of vellum and patterned paper turned out!  I also layered more colors under my photo as well as added more die cuts.

I also love the Cloud Die Cuts!!

My Scraps and More: Right Now

Hello! Sorry for my absence!  I've been working extra days at the office and then we went on a short trip to Michigan to see family. I haven't had much time at home at all!

I'm sharing a layout I created recently using My Scraps and More Got Talent Challenge!  The challenge is to not use any patterned paper on your page!  So, I got out my washi tape stash and had fun layering!

I added buttons and enamel shapes from my stash to coordinate with each colors!

I also added epoxy shapes and a photo clip from Studio Calico!  My title is American Craft Wood Grain Thickers.

Along with buttons, I also used a couple pieces of flair from {a flair for buttons}!

Have a great night!

Hello and Happy Thursday! Today on the My Scraps and More forums I have a Thursday Throwback challenge! I love using up my old stash as I tend to hold onto my favorites!  I used Crate Paper's
Boys Rule collection which is a classic boy line!

For my title, I used a cute cut file from Just Nick  called "All Boy".

I still have a lot of the chipboard ephemera from Boys Rule; I adhered two above my photo, as well as added a cute badge from {a flair for buttons} and a wooden veneer star from Studio Calico.

My Scraps and More: Life is Wonderful

Hello!  Hope this finds you well!  I am sharing a favorite layout today that I made for
My Scraps and More using the new Bella Blvd Color Chaos collection. I love how this turned out!  I started with the Right On Target cut file from The Cut Shoppe. I then used a few of the fun patterns to fill portions of the circle.

I then added in some of the Color Chaos chipboard pieces as well as my own enamel dots from my stash.

I also added in some fun flair from {a flair for buttons}!

Showing some of the coordinating Trinket Stickers from Color Chaos!
