Crate Paper: Cool Kid

Hello!  I'm back to share some layouts I created at a crop in December with Crate Paper's Cool Kid collection. I always appreciate a good boy line since they can be tough to find!  Crate Paper knocked one out of the park with this one!  I'm definitely trying to hoard as much of this as I can LOL  My sister always gives me great photos of my adorable nephew so its fun to scrapbook pages for her!

For my first layout, I started with kraft cardstock as my background. I like to layer my patterned papers so I added pieces behind my photos.

I used the cute frame from the 12x12 Chipboard Sheet to accent my journaling on one of the coordinating stickers.

Love the black block letter stickers found on the 6x12 Sticker Sheet!

I really love ledger print so I wanted it to be a main part of my background.  I paired this with the fun gray star print on the opposite side!
Here I used the block chipboard letters for my title....I also a few of the die cuts and stickers from the collection.

I used my Fiskars pennant punch to add a cute banner in the corner....I finished by stitching though the top.

Thanks for looking...sorry I haven't blogged in so long.  My son has been battling mono since the end of February. And honestly, I have been in sort of a funk and haven't felt much like crafting.  Lots of stuff going on in my personal life right now.

Clear Scraps Mixable Edgy Album: Let's Go On An Adventure

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a mini I did a few months ago for Clear Scraps!  After layouts, mini album are my favorite to create!  I used the Mixable Edgy Album along with Shimelle's Starshine collection.

Each page alternates from acrylic to chipboard cascading into different sizes!  This gives you lots of opportunity to layer your embellishments!  I tend to leave my acrylic pages "bare" but paint my chipboard...I just like the way the clear acrylic looks.

I documented our weekend trip to Chicago for the NFL draft!  We had a lot of fun hanging out with our friends in Grant Park as well as visiting some local hangouts.

I usually like to include an extra page or two by using envelopes or tags! Here, I used an older Fancy Pants striped envelope I've had in my stash forever.  I layered a Crate Paper chipboard frame with patterned paper as well as an epoxy clip.

Thanks for looking! Be sure to check out the Clear Scraps shop to see the variety of mini albums!  Have a great day!

The Cut Shoppe: Love

Today on The Cut Shoppe blog, I have a layout using some of the fun new cut files!  I fell in love with the 12x12 X to the O background cut file!  I used an ombre pattern from Bella Blvd's Valentina collection. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but I love how it looks!

I used the Kitchy Cursive Alphabet Cut File for my title as well as added coordinating stickers and sequins.

A close up of the ombre pattern with the cut file!

I have a pretty large stash of sequins from my Teresa Collins Designs collections and I love adding them to layouts!  I also used a cut out wood veneer heart from Freckled Fawn!

Showing more of the coordinating stickers from Valentina....for more shine, I used a gold photo clip by Studio Calico.

Thank you for stopping by tonight!  Check out all of the fun files at The Cut Shoppe on Etsy!  Have a wonderful night!

The Cut Shoppe: Snow Day

Today on The Cut Shoppe blog, I have a layout using some of the new, fun cut files perfect for this time of year!  I originally wanted to do a Christmas themed page but when I saw the Frosty Flakes cut file, I had to use it!  So, I went with a winter page instead!

I love the snowflakes in a circle pattern with the turquoise paper!  I used Elle's Studio Joyful collection for my page!

For my title, I cut the "snow day" from Bits and Baubles with silver foil paper.  I layered the letters on top of journaling cards from Joyful. I also added wood veneer shapes from Studio Calico as well as a cute flair button from {a flair for buttons}!

I used more of the journaling cards from Joyful as well as a cute cut out label to document about my photo. The enamel dots are from Echo Park Paper.

After adhering my cut file down as the background, I used some Heidi Swapp Color Shine as well as a mask from Studio Calico on the edges of my page.  I love how it turned out!

To add some more bling, I added sequins from my stash as well as more enamel dots!
Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to check out The Cut Shoppe to see all of the great holiday themed cut files! Have a great day!

Clear Scraps: First Day

Hello everyone! Last week my kiddos went back to school. So today on the Clear Scraps blog I have a layout using the Wire Mixer and Echo Park's Teacher's Pet! I love love love the Mixers...you can use them as a stencil as well as an embellishment!

I first placed my Mixer on my cardstock and used Dylusions Spray Ink in Sunshine Yellow.  I quickly cleaned it off so I could use it on my page.  My title is a cut file from the Silhouette shop called

I added in some of the coordinating Teacher's Pet Element Stickers, as well as a wooden veneer star from Studio Calico and enamel shape from Teresa Collins.

I used my hand punch to create a small banner at the top of my page with different patterns from the collection. I then stitched through using my sewing machine.

Showing more of the coordinating stickers as well as a gold paper clip from
Teresa Collins Studio Gold collection.

This cute wooden veneer letter is from Freckled Fawn...I layered it on top of a Teacher's Pet label sticker.

My Scraps and More: Handsome

This past weekend on the My Scraps and More blog, I had a layout up using the new Cocoa Vanilla line Made of Awesome!  I'm so happy Audrey brought this new company into the shop! I love the papers and embellishments!   And I always appreciate a good boy line!

I used one of the journaling cards to jot down some info about my photo and then added one of the cute flair buttons and enamel dots that coordinate with the collection. From my stash, I used some washi tape from Bella Blvd and a wooden veneer star from Studio Calico.

For my background, I used the "Counting Stars" cut file from The Cut Shoppe an added in different patterns to the centers.

Showing some of the coordinating stickers as well as more enamel dots!

My title is made from October Afternoon Alpha Stickers...they are so versatile and I use the on many projects!

Thanks for stopping by! I know Audrey just restocked the shop with this collection plus a few more!  The first round went pretty fast!  Have a great day!

Scrapping Our Stash June Blog Hop

Hello! It's the last Friday of the month and that means another "Scrapping Our Stash" blog hop!  I hope you'll visit everyone on the list!

Jennifer Haggerty http://livethemoment-jen.blogspot.com/ *you are here!*
Wendy Bergeron Coffman http://stampingrules.com

For my page, I used up most of my remaining stash of Teresa Collins Urban Market collection!  I love love love this line! The navy blue with silver and grey are stunning!!  I scrapped a cute photo of my nephew, Deacon!  I layered up lots of patterns as well as a photo overlay under my picture!

I had cut out these fun feathers from Silhouette on silver foil paper for another project but decided to not use them.  So, I thought they would look great to accent the silver and navy!  I added a cute "happy" Chipboard Sticker as well.

I cut off the bottom portion of one of the Urban Market Tags and had it peek out from under my photo. I also used one of Teresa's Signature Essential Silver Enamel Dots, as well as a coordinating card stock sticker.  One of my favorite wooden veneer shapes are these stars from Studio Calico!  I love using them on my pages!

Here I created a cluster of embellishments using the Decorative Brads, Enamel Dots, Decorative Tape, and Cardstock Sticker from Urban Market.  The chipboard letter is from the Pink Paislee Atlas Thickers in silver.

At the top of my photo, I added more chipboard and stickers, as well as another cute wooden veneer star! I love to layer things if you can't tell! LOL

Thanks for stopping by! I'm doing a giveaway of some Teresa Collins goodies today! Just be a follower of my blog and tell me what your current favorite collection to use (it can be new or old)!  I will choose a random winner Tuesday June 30th!
Have a great day!
