Practical Scrappers Scrap Your Stash Blog Hop: Fall/Halloween Edition

Happy Halloween!  This is one of my favorite holidays and today I'm happy to be a part of the Practical Scrappers Scrap Your Stash Blog Hop.  If you are following the list, you've come from    Kristy's blog. Below is the full list just in case you  need it!

For my projects, I used My Mind's Eye's Mischievous collection. I've definitely been hoarding it since it was debuted in the summer of 2011.  I scrapped a photo of my husband and I from a costume party in 2004!

I created a banner using two of my hand punches as well as chipboard pieces and coordinating brads.

I had some papers and embellishments left over so I decorated this mason jar to fill with Halloween goodies as teacher gifts!    I used the 3d Straight Edge Flower cut file by Jamie Cripps ( #44283)  from the Silhouette shop as my center and added a cute brad and bakers twine from Whisker Graphics.

Thanks for hopping along with us!! Up next is Cheryl's blog! Have a great day!

Teresa Collins Designs Nine & Co: Happy Place

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today, I'm sharing a layout I created using Teresa Collins Design's Nine & Co collection.  I love the warm colors of this line: perfect for any theme included fall :)

The wood veneer owl is adorable!  I placed it just at the corner of my photo. I also mixed in pennants cut on my Silhouette from the different patterns with pieces from the Ephemera pack.

My title was cut from white cardstock and a cut file (#60834)
by Kolette Hall.   I added a cute gold foil chipboard arrow, as well.

Showing the beautiful colors, including pieces of gold foil paper!

More embellishments from the line; I love that Teresa gives you so many options to choose from!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you'll check out Teresa's collections by going here.  I've been thinking about my dear friend a lot lately.  If you follow Teresa's blog, you know her husband is battling cancer.  Teresa is the sweetest, most down to earth person. She would do anything for anyone. I hate seeing their family go through this.    I hope you will join me  in lifting them up in prayer.  I hate cancer. I've lost so many family members to cancer, including my beautiful mother.

Paper Camellia October Kit: Slide

Hello! Today I'm up on the Paper Camellia blog with another layout from the October kits.  I used both the Main and Add On kits.  I am loving the bicycle print paper! So cute!

Here, I layered some of the pieces from the My Mind's Eye Mint Julep Ephemera pieces.  I love the mixture of the colors with the gold foil!

For my title, I used the gold foil Thickers from Jen Hadfield's Pebbles line.  If you know me, I love anything gold!  :)   I added more ephemera pieces as well as some cute enamel shapes from the Mint Julep collection.

I made this cute banner at the top of my page with some pennants again from the Mint Julep Ephemera pack.  I then stitched through with my sewing machine and added a gold foil heart.   The Ephemera pack is found in this month's Add-On kit.

Also found in the Add-On kit is this gorgeous cream and gold foil dot paper from Jen Hadfield.  It's even more beautiful in person!!  I layered a piece under my photo as well as added more ephemera pieces!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out this month's kit as well as the December Days kit that's now in the shop! Have a great day!

Teresa Collins Life Emporium: Hello Autumn

Hello all! To celebrate my favorite season I'm sharing a layout I created using Teresa Collins Designs Life Emporium collection.  I used the beautiful wood grain print as my background, followed by using white cardstock and the Bubbles Placemat Layout  #65811
  cut file from Silhouette.

I love all the little pieces of ephemera included in Teresa's collections.  I layered a few of the journaling cards with this cute pink and white polka dot number.  I also added a journaling sticker from Teresa's Basically Essential line.

I used the Hello Autumn Title (#66716) cut file and gold foil paper to create my title. I think the gold goes perfect with this collection!

I added some random circles of patterned paper and gold foil to a few of the centers of the circles in the background.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Check out Life Emporium and the rest of Teresa's awesome lines by clicking here.

Paper Camellia: Happy Day

Hello! I have a layout up on the Paper Camellia blog today with a layout I created using the Main and Add On kits for October. I love all of the colors as well as the fun gold accents in this kit!  So fun to create with!

Here, I used some die cuts and stickers from the Shimelle line and MME's Mint Julep.  Loving the little gold glitter hearts also from Mint Julep.

I love pennants...I paired a couple die cuts from the Mint Julep Ephemera pack with a gold glitter sticker from Pebbles' Jen Hadfield line.

Included in the Main kit are these fun wooden veneer words from Studio Calico!  They are perfect as a title or accent!  I layered two tag stickers from the Jen Hadfield line underneath. Also, you can spy more gold yumminess:  the gold foil dot/cream paper and gold glitter scallop tape (also from Jen Hadfield) found in the Add On Kit.

Included in the Main Kit are these fabulous My Mind's Eye gold rub-ons!  So fun to use! I layered some tidbits here above my photo.   Also, in the Add-On kit is star print vellum from Studio Calico...it is so beautiful in person!

Thanks for reading today!  Check out the Paper Camellia shop to check out all available kits!
Have a great day!

Chic Tags Sketch Challenge

Hello...hope this finds you doing well! It has definitely become fall here in Central Illinois!  I love the colors of autumn but I'm not ready for the cold!!

Today, I am sharing a sketch challenge I had up on the Chic Tags blog this past Friday!
My sketches are pretty simple...I like to leave room for creativity!

And here is my layout I created using the sketch and the Let's Go collection!

Loving the wood veneers and gold foil accents on the Let's Go Tidbits!

I use my gold foil letter stickers from the Good Tidings line a lot...and I'm running out. I may need to find some online!  They go perfect on many of my projects! You can also see some Let's Go flair in the bottom right corner.

Another Let's Go Tidbit I stapled to the top of my photo! I love using them in this way!

For my journaling, I used a few Let's Go Label Stickers....love the colors and they are just the right size to jot a few things down about your page.

So if you want to  play along with my sketch, you have until the end of the month to link up your layout in the comments!  I will be giving away some new exclusive fall Chic Tags goodies!!
Have a great day!
