The Cut Shoppe and Citrus Twist Kits Blog Hop

Hello and thank you for following our fun blog hop today! I hope you are getting a lot of great inspiration!  Thank you so much to Trina at Citrus Twist Kits for allowing me to play with this month's kit! There are so many beautiful pieces!  Also, Ashley designed a fun cut file set from
The Cut Shoppe as well!

Remember to comment on each participant's blog for a chance to win a $20 Gift Card...both The Cut Shoppe and Citrus Twist Kits are doing a giveaway!

Here is the blog list if you are following along:

And here is my layout! I based my page on a sketch by Citrus Twist Kits...you can click here to see the blog post.

And here is the FREE cut file available during the hop! I absolutely love the geometric butterfly!

I started by cutting the geometric shapes into my white card stock background. I then cut the entire butterfly with the Pink Paislee Fancy Free #08 print. I also back my card stock with the multicolored Fancy Free #06 page.

I love the little pieces of embellishments included in the kit!  You receive a full pack of ephemera from Fancy Free as well as Citrus Twist exclusives such as cork pieces and clear stamps!

I used some of the sequins and cork hearts to embellish the butterfly to add more color!

For my title, I used one of the Fancy Free Glitter Word Thickers!  I then added my journaling underneath.

Thanks again for stopping by!  Now onto Brenda's blog!  Have a great day!

Hello...happy Wednesday! I am sharing a layout I created using Paper Camellia's November Main and Embellishment Add On Kits! There is so much beautiful papers and embellishments including Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane (one of my favorites of this year!).

I used the Glitter Phrase Stickers from Dear Lizzy's Documentary collection for my title. These are included in the Embellishment Add On Kit!

I used a hand punch to create a pattern of triangles using papers from  Pink Paislee, Dear Lizzy, and Jen Hadfield.   I also added a sticker and cork piece from Elle's Studio's Thankful collection.

How cute are these arrows from the Cedar Lane collection? You receive three assorted styles in the Main kit! I also love the epoxy shape fox also from Cedar Lane!

The Cut Shoppe: Blessed

Hello! Today I have a layout up on The Cut Shoppe blog using some of the fun new cut files!  I used Authentique's Nestled and Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane for my page!

I love starting with a background file! I used Quirky Quilt 2..which one of three files included in Quirky Quilts!

For my title, I selected the word "blessed" from the Thankful Tidings cut file! I love that you have so many words to choose from!

I am a big fan of tags and love the Thankful Tags cut file!! I used the "family" tag to accent my page as well as adding a cute epoxy shape fox as well as enamel dots from my stash.

Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the blog and link up your own layout using one of the many cut files from The Cut Shoppe! Have a great day!

Paper Camellia: Wish

Hello and Happy Monday!  Today on the Paper Camellia blog I have a layout using this month's Main Kit!  There are lots of My Mind's Eye and Dear Lizzy's Documentary included for October! Definitely loving the soft pinks and bright yellow!

I love these black foam Word Script Thickers from Dear Lizzy! I used the word "wish" for my title!  I think the black pops against the softer hues of the patterned papers.

I used some of my American Craft roller stamps from my stash, as well as paint splatters and black enamel dots to accent my page.

The Main Kit includes both pink and yellow ribbon...here I attached a pink bow to one of the Pink Paislee Memorandum gold foil frames.

You also include a mixed bag of ephemera from My Mind's Eye's My Story. I layered a few of the pieces at the top of my photo.

I also used these cute pink Elle's Studio letter stickers on the side of my photo. You can also spy some  gold enamel shapes from Pink Paislee's Memorandum collection. I love the little spots of gold!

Thanks for stopping by! Check out the available kits at Paper Camellia's shop by clicking here! Have a great day!

My Scraps and More: Run Paris

This week, the design team at My Scraps and More showcased creating layouts from 6x6 paper pads!  I was given one of my favorites:  the lovely Pink Paislee Atlas to work with for my page!

I started with a circle background cut file from the Silhouette shop. Then I got out a few of my circle hand punches and started adhering different patterns to the center of the circles.

I loved using the smaller papers as it shows off the patterns a bit more!

I included some of the Atlas Ephemera pieces from my stash such as this cute pink tag! I also love the acetate stars too!

I used different strips of patterns at the top and bottom of my page and then stitched through with my sewing machine!

Thank you for stopping by!  Hope this inspires you to use up some of those 6x6 paper pads you have in your stash!  Be sure to check out the MSAM blog for more inspiration from the design team!

Clear Scraps: The Best Day

I had a layout up on the Clear Scraps blog this past Tuesday using one of the very cool Mirror Frames and the 6 Inch Circles Mascil.  Pink Paislee's Cedar Ridge is one of my favorite new collections!

I first cut a rectangular piece of patterned paper to go behind the frame and then added epoxy words for my title. I also added a cute little fox die cut and acetate leaves!

Using my 6 inch Circles Mascil, I applied a light coat of modeling paste. Once dry, I adhered different sized circles to the centers.

Showing some of the ephemera that comes with Cedar Ridge....

I love the multi colored leaf print!! So beautiful! Also, I layered more of the ephemera pieces as well as added a cute epoxy flower.
Thanks for stopping by! Tell me your favorite fall collection this year?
Have a great night!

Paper Camellia: Adventure

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a layout I created using this month's Paper Camellia Main Kit!  July is full of travel themed goodies and you won't be disappointed!

This year Crate Paper, Pink Paislee, and My Mind's Eye released awesome travel lines!  And they all go well together!  For my title, I used the Gold Glitter Heidi Swapp "Adventure" sticker and accented it with a cute gold Jen Hadfield Pebbles Puffy Sticker. Also, My Mind's Eye has cute enamel shapes including these dots and arrows!

Included in the Main Kit is a 12x12 Chipboard Sheet from Crate Paper's Journey collection.  I layered  a chipboard frame and cute road sign on top of my envelope.

This ledger card is so adorable and perfect for journaling! I added letter stickers from Simple Stories as well as a geotag enamel shape from MME.

This month again brings you Paper Camellia exclusives such as this acrylic heart/arrow as well as cork hearts and wooden veneer stars.

I added "rays" of different patterns from the kit on top of my yardstick and then stitched through with my sewing machine.

Hello! Continuing with some love themed projects, I am sharing an altered canvas I created using Pink Paislee's Bella Rouge collection and a cute cut file from Silhouette designed by Lori Whitlock (file #54870).

Love these rosette flowers that come with the collection!! I added a couple along with some of the chipboard accents.

I used some modeling paste and Teresa Collins Designs' heart stencil to add some dimension to my canvas.

I used some gold foil paper to back the word "favorite", as well as the small heart at the end of the saying.

Have a great day!

Relax: Paper Camellia December Kit Layout

Hello...Merry Christmas week (if you celebrate Christmas).  I can't believe its here already.  I am 99 percent done with shopping and have mostly everything wrapped. My favorite part of Christmas is watching my kids open their presents, followed by spending time with my family.
Unfortunately, I've been battling some sort of stomach bug and have been pretty useless.  I worked today and am scheduled tomorrow but haven't done much else. I haven't been able to run in over a week.  And scrapbooking, well that's gone by the wayside too. I have high hopes of feeling better Wednesday and spending some time in my craft room.  I so need it. My anxiety is high this week and I know playing with some pretty paper will help.

Today, I'm sharing a layout I created with this month's Paper Camellia Main and Add on kits.  I can tell you Ria (the owner) does an outstanding job of putting together the right mixture of papers and embellishments. And I'm not just saying that because I am on the design team! I was getting ready to start my subscription when she asked me to be on the team.  I just love creating with the kits!

Love these Amy Tangerine Thickers that are included in the Main Kit!  They go with pretty much anything!  I also added some of the new Pink Paislee washi shapes..they come in this cute little booklet!

I layered some of the ephemera from the Amy Tangerine Stitched line and Pink Paislee Bella Rouge.  I also added a cute chevron arrow from Heidi Swapp.

Thanks for reading..check out the Paper Camellia shop for this and more kits!  Don't forget to be on the lookout for January sneak peeks! I can tell you that next month's kit is GORGEOUS!!
