My Scraps and More: #Dude

This past week on the My Scraps and More forum, I had a Saturday Scraplift Challenge!  I used Simple Stories' new So Rad collection! I love love love this line with its bold colors and fun embellishments!  

Here, I used some of the die cuts along with Chipboard Accents and self adhesive Bradz. 

My title is from the Chipboard Accent sheet which includes many words and shapes!

Also included in the line are coordinating enamel dots!  I love having a set that match the papers perfectly!

My Scraps and More Saturday Scraplift: Smile

This weekend, I have a scrap lift challenge up at the My Scraps and More forums! I used

Simple Stories' new Life Documented collection that I purchased in the MSAM shop.   

 

I was inspired by Brenda's bright sun rays so I decided to scraplift her page! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And here is my layout...I used the Amanda McGee Sunburst cut file from the Silhouette shop ( #47228). 

 

 My title is cut from white cardstock and the Simple Stories Cursive Smile cut file (#56585).

In one of the "rays" I placed some of the Life Documented Enamel Dots as well as chipboard pieces.

Paper Camellia: Beautiful

Well, it has been my turn to be sick....I was down most of the weekend with strep and a double ear infection. Still not feeling good but my doctor put me on a stronger antibiotic so hopefully that will help!  I'm so ready for spring! 

 

Today, I'm up on the Paper Camellia blog using this month's Main Kit.  Ria always does a fabulous job putting together the right mixture of embellishments and paper! February's kit doesn't disappoint! There is lots of Crate Paper's Kiss Kiss and We R Memory Keepers Love Notes. 

 

 

 

I used one of the exclusive Paper Camellia wooden veneer words for my title!  The main kit includes words and shapes. 

 

Also in the Main Kit are lots of embellishments such as the 6x12 Accent stickers from Kiss Kiss, as well as the gold glitter American Craft Thicker Words and Shapes.  

I added a stitched circle as well as accent stickers and enamel dot (from my stash).

Paper Secrets May 1st Reveal

Hello friends! It's a new month and that means another sketch and challenge from Paper Secrets! 

Here is the May 1st sketch created by Kelly Holifield.  The challenge word is SHOWERS.

 

 

 

 

For my layout, I used Simple Stories'  Charmed Life. For the challenge word, the items I used were S: stickers H: hearts O: overlay W: white cardstock E: enamel dots R: ribbon S: stars

 

 

I used some of the coordinating decorative brads from Charmed Life as well as enamel dots from Basic Grey and My Minds Eye.

 

 

Here, for my "O", I cut a 4x6 photo overlay from Teresa Collins Designs Daily Stories and placed over my picture. 

 

 

Here, I used some of the coordinating stickers from the Charmed Life collection on the side of my photo.  

 

 

I created my title with letter stickers and a cut file from the Silhouette shop.

Teresa Collins Designs Daily Stories Flip Book

Happy May Day! How can it be May already?  Today is an exciting day for Teresa Collins Designs. Teresa has a BIG announcement on her blog! So be sure to check it out by going

I'm so excited for Teresa and where she is taking her company! I am proud to be a part of her design team! Not only are her products phenomenal and the highest quality, she herself is a wonderful, caring person who is real to others. I feel Teresa is really about getting people to tell their stories through crafting.  I admire her so much!
Today I have a cute Flip Book I made with Daily Stories on the design team blog.  It was so fun and easy to make. If you haven't worked with the flip books, you must try them!   With a little trimming, you can use your favorite 4x6 photos.  And these books make a great gift!

 

 

Daily Stories is my favorite release of the past trade show! I've used it a lot!  I just love the colors! 

For my cover, I used a few of the pennant stickers as pieces from the Chipboard Elements and Die Cut Wood pack.  Nothing is complete without a few sequins and enamel dots too...and of course, some stitching!

 

 

 

On the inside of my front cover, I typed my journaling then added a nice sentiment from the Ephemera pack.  

 

I used some photos of my cute niece that my sister gave me. I love scrapping her pictures..she is so photogenic! 

 

I adhered my photo so it covered the entire page then added some washi tape, a sticker, and pennant from the Ephemera Pack.

 

 

On this page, I did a banner of sorts across the midline.  I used circle stickers from the Sticker Sheet, then punched a few from patterned paper. After stitching through, I added Chipboard Buttons, some sequins, and Die Cut Wood star.

 



 

 

 

I wanted to incorporate some of the Basically Essential modeling paste and stencils.  Here, I used the "love you" from the 8x10 #3 pack. After removing the stencil, I added glitter to give it some "pop".

 

The File Folders and Envelopes in each collection are so cute....Daily Stories is no exception. I used this small folder and added a button, as well as a butterfly punched from patterned paper and  vellum. I embossed the vellum using the Teresa Collins/Craftwell eBosser and Teresa's Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
