Clear Scraps Theatre Chipboard Album: Spring Break

Hello and Happy Wednesday! This week is spring break for my kiddos so I'm sharing a mini album I have up on the Clear Scraps blog today.  I used the Theatre Chipboard Album and Teresa Collins Designs' Something Wonderful.  I first painted the pages with white acrylic paint before adding my papers.
I love the cut outs along the bottom and top of the front page. I adhere a fun paper to the backside to show through the slots.

I used one of the new 4x6 Teresa Collins embossing folders from Craftwell to give some texture to my Butterfly Mixer.  I then used  Teresa's butterfly die to cut patterned paper and layered it underneath.

This book was the perfect size to document a fun spring break when Hailey and I road-tripped up to Minnesota to see our good friends!

Look at our babies!! Hailey and her friend were just 4 yrs old!

Thank you for looking....be sure to stop by Clear Scraps and see the many new albums that were released this past January!  Plus, there are a lot of fun new embellishments!  I just received my box of new goodies and I can't wait to share with you!
Have a great day!

Teresa Collins Designs: This Is Something Wonderful

Hi friends! Is this week flying by or what? I can't believe its Thursday!  Today I have a layout up on the Teresa Collins Designs Design Team blog using the Something Wonderful collection.  This fun line has great patterns and colors: perfect for just about any theme!  I used one of my favorite photos of my daughter from when she was in preschool!

I used my Silhouette to cut a few triangles into my cardstock background. I then backed them with patterned paper, as well as cut different sized triangles to add on top of my CS.  You can see, too, that I stitched through a couple with my sewing machine.  I also used my new TC Craftwell Cut N Boss to emboss a vellum envelope from the Basically Essential line.  I used the exclusive Triangle folder that came with the HSN bundle.  (What can I say, I "had" to have it!).

I love layering vellum under my photos! I think it makes a nice accent! Here is another shot of the triangles of patterned paper.  I love all of them but the wood grain is my favorite!

I used one of the sentiments from the Chipboard Elements for my title. I then added some enamel dots and a decorative brad.  You can see, too, the little star sequins that coordinates with the collection!

I added another chipboard sentiment plus a sticker over some cute decorative tape at the left hand corner of my photo.  There is never a shortage of selection of embellishments with Teresa's lines!

Another shot of little tidbits...I love to make clusters of small embellishments!

Thank you for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out Teresa's Facebook page this week to see more sneak peeks of her new releases!  I promise you will LOVE them all! Have a great day!

Clear Scraps Cloud Mixers: You Are My Sunshine

Hello! Sorry for my lack of updating.....I'm still trying to recover from pneumonia.  I haven't had much energy to be in my scrap room.  I think I'm on the upswing (at least I hope!).
Today, I'm up in the Clear Scraps blog with a layout and card I created using the new Cloud Mixers.  I really love the Mixers and was excited when Susan and Jim released them in January!  You can use the Mixers and a stencil and an embellishment!

I first used my 12 inch Cloud Mascil with Tattered Angels spray ink on a white cardstock background.

Here, you can see the Cloud Mixers:  the one on the right I embossed using the Craftwell Delicate Dot embossing folder and my eBosser.  I then adhered my letters for my title over the clouds.

I used papers from Studio Calico and Basic Grey from the Studio Calico March kit.

Here, I added enamel dots from Twine and Ink as well as a wooden veneer heart from Studio Calico.

Since I had an extra cloud, I decided to make a card as well! I used a cut file from the Silhouette shop for the sunburst, adhered, and then stitched through.  I embossed this cloud with the Teresa Collins Craftwell Honeycomb embossing folder. I finished by adding my title (another cut file) and some sequins and enamel dots!

Inside, I stamped this sentiment from the Teresa Collins Designs' Save The Date clear stamp set.  I added enamel dots from Twine and Ink (from the SC March kit).

Thanks for looking today...stop by the Clear Scraps shop and check out more Mixers! I promise you will love creating with them!
