Clear Scraps *new* Mixers

Hello!  This week has gone so fast...can't believe its Thursday already!  Today on the Clear Scraps blog I have two layouts I created for CHA with the new Mixers.  These by far are my favorite of the new release!!  Mixers are thin acrylic shapes that can be used as a stencil and embellishment!

First up, I used the Feathers Mixers and I love how my layout came out!  I used Maggie Holmes'
Flea Market collection from Crate Paper.  The photo is of my beautiful angel mother when she was 17 yrs old.

I first placed the feathers onto my cardstock and used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Caribbean Blue to create a negative image.

I then took the Mixers and added alcohol ink from Ranger in Slate and Red Pepper. I didn't dry off the spray ink either, so the colors ran together.

Here, I added some of the resin flowers from the Ephemera pack as well as enamel dots from

My title is cut with patterned paper and a Silhouette cut file (#36745).   I stitched through a few times, as well.

Love the jewel pins and stitched pennants that coordinate with Flea Market!

On my next layout, I used the Gear Mixers. I think they are perfect for any boy/guy themed project!

Again, I first used the Mixers as a stencil and sprayed onto my cardstock.  I then used alcohol ink to color the gears.  I used My Mind's Eye's Chalk Studio collection for this page.

I also used a few of the Echo Park Gears by Lori Whitlock on my Silhouette in black cardstock and patterned paper (#30449).
My title is also another cut file from Lori Whitlock (#33606).

Love these Phrase tags from Chic Tags! Perfect to use to document the date or add some journaling!

I created a banner with different hand punches and stitched along the top.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out the Clear Scrap shop for these products plus many more Mixers!  Right now, there is a clearance sale going on as well!
Have a great day!
