Clear Scraps Clearly Accent Road Trip Embellishments

Today I'm up on the Clear Scraps blog with a layout I created using the Clearly Accent Road Trip Embellishments.  I wanted to use these fun products to go with one of my favorite photos:  a day at a local fundraiser where the kids were able to ride on construction vehicles!  My son at the time was 2 1/2 and he was in total heaven!

I chose three of the five signs that come in the set and added color to them. The route and stop sign were inked with Ranger Alcohol Ink in Pool and Red Pepper respectively. On the yield sign, I used Art Anthology Sorbet in Sheen Shimmer Gold.

I also used pieces of a Clear Scraps Circle Border and inked in Pool as well.

Here is are some close ups of the Circle Border pieces.  I layered them on top of a cute freebie cut file from Chic Tags!

I used a canvas tag that coordinates with the Wander collection from Basic Grey and placed it on top of the stop sign. I then adhered it so it would peek out from under my photo!  I added a date stamp from American Crafts, as well.

I used some of the cardstock stickers and a wooden veneer star from Studio Calico to embellish the route sign.

For the yield sign, I added more of the cardstock stickers and placed it just under my photo.

I used Thickers from American Crafts plus Basic Grey Sticker letters for my title. I cut the "Dozer" on my Silhouette and backed it with patterned paper.  My entire layout is adhered to a Clear Scraps 12x12 Acrylic Sheet.

Love these tiny arrow!  I wish SC would re-release them (I did tell them that at CHA!).
The stamped sentiment is from Amy Tangerine (American Crafts).

Thanks for reading and stopping by today. Check out the Clear Scraps shop for these fun clear embellishments and a lot more!

  1. Gorgeous, really! Those inks scare me, but you made it look so easy. I really love that big cut file going down the side, really draws you in.
