Authentique's Renew

 

I know it's only February but I'm itching for spring. I really dislike this time of  year...the lull between after Christmas and the warmer weather starting.

To get me out of the winter blues (somewhat) I'm sharing a layout I created with Authentique's Renew collection.  I love the non-traditional colors!  Usually spring lines are too bright for my taste but I am loving the turquoise, yellow, and black!

 

I decorated one of the mini files with some wooden veneer letters from Studio Calico and letter stickers that coordinate with the collection.  I added a metal love bird from Maya Road, as well as the die cut circle adorned with bakers twine from Whisker Graphics. The cute "open here" stamp is an oldie but goodie I have from Catslife Press.

 

 

I hid my journaling underneath the file and held in in place with some yellow chevron washi tape from Bella Blvd. 

 

Adding more of the die cut circles plus some flair from {a flair for buttons}.

 

 

I cut this wooden veneer scallop circle to fit the edges of my photo and border.  

 

Ok..only 30 something more days til spring! Have a good weekend!
