Clear Scraps + DCWV Blog Hop: Halloween 2013

Hello and Happy Monday!  Today is Day 4 of the Clear Scraps and DCWV Blog Hop.  I was lucky to receive DCWV's Halloween line Spookytime to work with (my favorite holiday!)  It's never too late to scrapbook this year's Halloween photos so I decided to create a mini album with Clear Scraps 6x6 Tab Album.  This album is the perfect size to document any event or favorite photos!

For my inside cover, I used a fun clear photo frame from Pebbles' Thirty One line and added my journaling, as well as a cute pennant punched from one of the Spookytime patterns.

I let my photo cover the bottom half of my page and added patterned paper to the top portion.  I finished by adding a tag for journaling, as well as washi tape, and flair from {a flair for buttons}.

On this page, I used a Clearly Accent Embellishment Dress Form and colored it with Ranger Alcohol Ink in Slate. I then covered the bottom half of the "dress" with patterned paper. I finished by adding black/white chevron ribbon from Maya Road, as well as a pin from Tim Holtz.

I used a fun subway style cut file from my Silhouette and adhered it to my background paper. I then added some washi tape as well as fun Halloween flair from {a flair for buttons}.

For this page, I simply punched out circles with a punch and added a different patterned behind. After adhering my photo, I added different size sequins as well as washi tape.

Another fun cut file from Silhouette!  I also added a doily  as well as paint splatters to accent.

I love using chipboard photo frames like this one from Crate Paper's The Pier collection. I accented with bakers twine and color resist pennants (Heidi Swapp).  I finished by creating a fun fabric ribbon flower with a Teresa Collins' Designs decorative brad in the middle.

Here's a close up of my fabric flower....instead of starting from the center of the circle, I began on the outside edge. Using my hot glue gun, I created folds until I reached the center of the circle.

Here, I took a Ranger manila tag and covered with patterned paper and washi tape. I used this for my journaling (which I did on my electric typewriter).

For my last page, I incorporated a cute Halloween tag from Chic Tags to go under my photo.

Thanks for stopping by today! Your next destination is the Clear Scraps blog! Be sure to check out all of the projects from the hop for your chance to win some great prizes!  Have a great day!
