Sketch N Scrap Holiday Blog Hop + giveaway!

Happy Halloween!! Since this is my favorite holiday, I was so happy to be able to post today for the Sketch N Scrap Holiday Blog Hop!

I created this frame to hold ATC-size cards I decorated using American Crafts' Halloween line (which I guess you can only find at Target). I had seen other scrappy friends post about it and I almost didn't buy it. But, I couldn't resist.  :)

I used my Tim Holtz ATC die with the 6x6 paper pad and my Vagabond.  I love the matching mini clothes pins too!  For this card, I cut strips of paper and adhered them on a diagonal. The top layer is one of the fun coordinating washi tapes! I stitched through each layer  and added a metal clip from the Tim Holtz Idealogy line.

I got out my old Halloween stamps for this project! This chandelier is from clear stamp set from Unity Stamp Company. I heat embossed with Ranger Super Fine Embossing Powder in Black, then added some of the coordinating washi tape and sequins. I even had some left over enamel dots from the Teresa Collins Designs' Masquerade collection.  The stamped sentiment "trick or treat" is from an even older stamp set from Pink Paislee. (I'm a clear stamp hoarder!)

This card is pretty simple. I used vellum with a Sizzix Chevron Embossing Folder and added washi tape, American Crafts gold glitter tape, and one of the coordinating paper rosettes. Love the gold glitter!

Here, I made a vellum overlay and added sequins inside. On the bottom corner is another paper rosette and a decorative pin from Maya Road.

I used my 6 inch Chicken Wire Mascil from Clear Scraps and Heidi Swapp's Color Shine in Silver for this card.  I then added a stamped sentiment from Pink Paislee and a photo frame from Crate Paper. I then finished with more enamel dots and some washi tape. The flair is from {a flair for buttons}.

On this card, I used one of Heidi Swapp's color resist banners with more of the Silver Color Shine and stitched it across the top of the card. My little skull is from Making Memories...I added enamel dots for his eyes and some old school Making Memories letters to spell the "boo". The arrow is from Studio Calico.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a safe and fun day if you celebrate Halloween! It's supposed to rain here all day so I think I may have some disappointed kiddos!
Tell me your favorite Halloween candy to be entered to win a 6x6 pad of Teresa Collins Designs' new Memorabilia!  I will pick a winner when I return from my missions trip on the 8th!

  6. I love this project....I resisted buying this AC Halloween line from Target but seeing it on your project makes me want it. I might go over to Target tomorrow and see if it is half price after Halloween. My favorite candy is anything chocolate....especially Snickers bars. But I am eating healthy these days and excersising so no candy for me. Thanks for the chance to win the 6x6 paper pad.

  11. Cute cards. I've done something similar for Christmas, but Hallowe'en isn't a big thing here. My favourite Hallowe'en candy are Swizzels Double Lollies. I'll admit to holding them 'til last when the Trick or Treaters come round, in the hope of having some left over.

  18. What awesome ATC's and framed that way is great. Will be awesome to put out every Halloween. I would say my go to candy is Snickers, but this Halloween I bought some Pay-Days and 100 grand bars for the kiddies to have something different and have to say I may have some new favorites now.
