Clear Scraps Heart Printer Tray Frame

Hello friends!  The week is almost over and I'm glad...looking forward to a weekend away with my Scrappy Girls for a fun crop!

Today, I am sharing one of the new Clear Scraps products: the Printer Tray Frames!  I used the Heart shape for my project along with Jillibean Soup's Hardy Hodge Podge collection!

The Printer Trays are a great way to mix up your layouts or to create a fun home decor piece!

I love the dog print included in this collection and wanted use it on my front frame. Using Beacon 3-in-1 Craft Adhesive is the BEST because its solvent based and won't discolor or warp your projects and it dries quickly!  I applied my adhesive directly to the front frame and onto my patterned paper.  Once dry, I cut off the excess paper using scissors and an exacto knife. Also, using a sanding tool helps as well.

One of the fun things to do with the Printer Trays is to create a "shaker" space! I added chunky glitter and coordinating wood veneer pieces.

I added die cuts from the collection to fill a few of the windows..using pop dots helps create dimension.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Check out the variety of Printer Tray Frames by visiting the Clear Scraps Shop!

Layouts with Simple Stories' Posh Collection

Hello and happy Saturday!  Hope you are having a good weekend! It's beautiful here in Central Illinois...we had a high in the 70's today.  Unfortunately, I spent a good chunk of it in bed since I'm still fighting pneumonia. I started steroids  this week but it doesn't seem to be helping. Chris and I are leaving for Seattle tomorrow for his work conference so I'm praying I start to feel better. It's so frustrating being sick all of the time.

Anyway, I'm sharing layouts I created using Simple Stories' new Posh collection. I absolutely love this line...the colors are gorgeous!!  I actually used up all of my paper and had to order more!

My first layout "Brace Face" I used a cute photo of my niece with her new braces!  I started with a background cut file from Just Nick Studio with white card stock. I then added in different patterns from the collection!

A new embellishment for this release is washi tape!! I am loving the thinner tapes too!
The Bits and Pieces pack has LOTS of fun shapes to use! Here, I layered some of the flowers along with a cute bird.

I used the navy letter stickers included in the 12x12 Sticker Sheet along with more die cuts and stickers.

The self adhesive Bradz are adorable in the center of one of the flowers!

For my second layout, Hazel Grace" I did a grid sort of page with cute photos of our new kitten we adopted in June.

Again, I used the navy letter stickers for my title along with chipboard and die cut pieces!

Another new addition are roller stamps with cute sentiments!

I love the gold foil accents on the Journaling Cards as well as the embellishments!

Have a good night!

Max the pug

Hello and happy Thursday! One more week until Thanksgiving which is so hard to believe.  I'm in denial that the holiday season is approaching! LOL

Today I am sharing a layout I created with Pink Paislee's Portfolio line.  I absolutely LOVE this line!  The turquoise and yellow is gorgeous. And I love the embellishments!  And I couldn't help but use this adorable picture of my pug, Max!

The line comes with a package ephemera that includes tags, arrows, hearts, and other little tidbits to add to your project.

There are also new Artisan pieces of stars, heart, arrows and butterflies that have resist on them. So you can ink or spray to customize to your liking!

I actually created this layout as my submission for the Sketchabilities design team. I used Sketch #77. Be sure to check out the blog for lots of fun ideas!
Thanks for reading! Jen

Meet Me in St. Louis........

The family and I are headed to St. Louis overnight. My husband was given 4 free tickets to tonight's Cardinals's game.  Unfortunately, the kids weren't excited about going. So, Chris invited our good friends, the Strohbeck's, to go with him. The kids and I are going to hang out at the hotel pool and probably rent a movie.
Tomorrow,  Chris and the kids are heading back home and I'm going to visit my bestest friend, Natalie, who is currently in treatment getting help for her eating disorder. I haven't seen her in months and I'm just over the moon excited to spend some time with her!!

In honor of our friends Jeni and Craig, as well as my Natalie, going to share a mini dog album I did for Hailey's teacher last month.  I used a 4x4 acrylic Maya Road coaster album. I love how tiny it is!  My paper was Basic Grey's Max and Whiskers.  The cute pop up doggie embellishments are by KI.  Very simple but thought Mrs. Wilson could use it as a brag book for her Herman :)
