Clear Scraps: Family Is Everything

Happy Thanksgiving!  Today I'm sharing a layout I created using one of the new Clear Scraps Chipboard Word Script Titles!  I have a tutorial to show you how easy it is to alter these fun products!   I first started with my 12 inch Wood Grain Mascil and some spray ink to color my white yardstick.

I used the Family Chipboard Word Script for my title. I also layered some leaves using a cut file from  The Cut Shoppe underneath to help my title "pop".

I first added a light coat of spray ink to the chipboard. After allowing it to dry, I secured my Chevron Border Mascil to my title using washi tape. I then applied a light coat of modeling paste.

Before allowing the modeling paste to dry, I again misted my chipboard with the same spray ink to give it a little more color.

Showing some of the cute embellishments from the Pumpkin Spice collection!

Thank  you for reading today!  I wish you a happy and safe holiday!

Paper Camellia: Love This Smile

Hello...happy Wednesday! I am sharing a layout I created using Paper Camellia's November Main and Embellishment Add On Kits! There is so much beautiful papers and embellishments including Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane (one of my favorites of this year!).

I used the Glitter Phrase Stickers from Dear Lizzy's Documentary collection for my title. These are included in the Embellishment Add On Kit!

I used a hand punch to create a pattern of triangles using papers from  Pink Paislee, Dear Lizzy, and Jen Hadfield.   I also added a sticker and cork piece from Elle's Studio's Thankful collection.

How cute are these arrows from the Cedar Lane collection? You receive three assorted styles in the Main kit! I also love the epoxy shape fox also from Cedar Lane!
Thank you for reading today! Be sure to check out the Paper Camellia shop for these kits and much more! Have a wonderful day!

The Cut Shoppe: Blessed

Hello! Today I have a layout up on The Cut Shoppe blog using some of the fun new cut files!  I used Authentique's Nestled and Pink Paislee's Cedar Lane for my page!

I love starting with a background file! I used Quirky Quilt 2..which one of three files included in Quirky Quilts!

For my title, I selected the word "blessed" from the Thankful Tidings cut file! I love that you have so many words to choose from!

I am a big fan of tags and love the Thankful Tags cut file!! I used the "family" tag to accent my page as well as adding a cute epoxy shape fox as well as enamel dots from my stash.

Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the blog and link up your own layout using one of the many cut files from The Cut Shoppe! Have a great day!

My Scraps and More: Darling

So sorry that I haven't been updating. Life has been a little crazy lately and I find I don't have much energy left over at the end of the day.  I've been dealing with some health issues so many things have been taking a back seat...like scrapbooking and updating my blog!

Anyway, I'm having a sort of couch day and thought I'd share a layout I created for My Scraps and More using Maggie Holmes' Shine collection. I always love anything from Maggie Holmes and Shine doesn't disappoint!

I love the gold glitter word phrase Thickers that coordinate with this line.  I used "Darling" as my title....perfect to go with the sweet photo of my daughter!

Shine comes with a package of wood veneer shapes and phrases; I added this large diamond as well as pieces of flowers from the Ephemera pack.

I added a tag from the Ephemera, as well as pennant stickers and chipboard under my photo!

More ephemera  as well as a cute love chipboard sentiment!

I added some paint splashes of Heidi Swapp Color Shine as well as enamel dot from stash!

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to visit the My Scraps and More shop to see this and many more collections!
Have a great day!
