My Scraps and More: Hello Lovely

Today I'm sharing a layout that I had up on the My Scraps and More blog using Basic Grey's B-Side collection. I love the bright colors and prints of this line! I instantly thought about Hailey and scrapping a photo of her!  I used two cut files from The Cut Shoppe as well!

I cut my title from the Say The Word Cut File using the black print of one of the b sides. I think the black really helps the colors pop!

I layered pieces of ephemera from B-Side as well as added some cute flair from A Flair For Buttons.

The Cut Shoppe Halloween Blog Hop

Welcome to The Cut Shoppe Halloween Blog hop!  I hope you find lots of inspiration today...be sure to visit each DT members blog as we are all giving away a FREE cut file!!  If you are following along, you've come from Katrina's blog!  Otherwise, below is the list with links!

Clear Scraps: Keep Calm and Costume On

This week on the Clear Scraps blog I had a layout up using the new Spider Web Chipboard Embellishment!   I love the new chipboard goodies...they are so fun to play with!  I also used Crate Paper's After Dark collection for my page.

I colored my chipboard first using black acrylic paint.

Once the paint dried, I applied Distress Crackle Paint in Picket Fence.  After allowing the Crackle Paint to dry, I used a sanding block to go over the edges was well as random spots on the top of the web (allowing the black paint to show through).  I decided that it needed a little more color so I did lightly spray the chipboard with Distress Stain Spray in Marmalade.

Here is the finished result! I backed each "ray" with different patterns from After Dark!

Showing some of the coordinating stickers as well as enamel dots from After Dark.  I also added some sequins from my stash!

Thanks for stopping by! Do you have any fun plans for Halloween?  It's supposed to rain here all day :(  So not sure if we will get many trick or treaters!
Have a great night!

My Scraps and More: Best Day Ever

Yesterday on the My Scraps and More blog, I had a layout using Maggie Holmes' new Shine collection from Crate Paper!

I used one of the Shine Wooden Veneer Words for my title...when I saw these I had to have them!  There are 16 different shapes/words in each package to choose from.
Showing some of the Ephemera and Stickers from the Shine collection. I layered a few under my photo.

One of the many things I love about Crate Paper is that there are many different embellishments to choose from!  I paired more of the Ephemera with stickers, chipboard shapes, and wood veneers! I added some enamel dots from my own stash.

Thanks for stopping by!  Check out this collection in the MSAM shop before its all gone!
Have a great night!

Paper Camellia: Wish

Hello and Happy Monday!  Today on the Paper Camellia blog I have a layout using this month's Main Kit!  There are lots of My Mind's Eye and Dear Lizzy's Documentary included for October! Definitely loving the soft pinks and bright yellow!

I love these black foam Word Script Thickers from Dear Lizzy! I used the word "wish" for my title!  I think the black pops against the softer hues of the patterned papers.

I used some of my American Craft roller stamps from my stash, as well as paint splatters and black enamel dots to accent my page.

The Main Kit includes both pink and yellow ribbon...here I attached a pink bow to one of the Pink Paislee Memorandum gold foil frames.

You also include a mixed bag of ephemera from My Mind's Eye's My Story. I layered a few of the pieces at the top of my photo.

I also used these cute pink Elle's Studio letter stickers on the side of my photo. You can also spy some  gold enamel shapes from Pink Paislee's Memorandum collection. I love the little spots of gold!

My Scraps and More: Run Paris

This week, the design team at My Scraps and More showcased creating layouts from 6x6 paper pads!  I was given one of my favorites:  the lovely Pink Paislee Atlas to work with for my page!

I started with a circle background cut file from the Silhouette shop. Then I got out a few of my circle hand punches and started adhering different patterns to the center of the circles.

I loved using the smaller papers as it shows off the patterns a bit more!

I included some of the Atlas Ephemera pieces from my stash such as this cute pink tag! I also love the acetate stars too!

I used different strips of patterns at the top and bottom of my page and then stitched through with my sewing machine!

Thank you for stopping by!  Hope this inspires you to use up some of those 6x6 paper pads you have in your stash!  Be sure to check out the MSAM blog for more inspiration from the design team!

The Cut Shoppe: Trick or Treat

Hello! Today on The Cut Shoppe blog I have a layout up using some new Halloween cut files! This is one of my absolute favorite times of the year!  Needless to say, I love scrapping about Halloween and fall!  I used Crate Paper's After Dark collection for my page.

For my background, I used the super cute Wacky Web cut file!

For my title, I used the "Trick or Treat" from Wicked Fun, as well as the star/circle border.

I added a cute web flair from {a flair for buttons}...I thought it went perfect with the paper!

Showing some of the coordinating element stickers from After Dark!

Clear Scraps: Fall Clipboard

Yesterday, I had a fun fall themed home decor project up on the Clear Scraps blog!  The acrylic clipboards are one of my favorite products released this past year!  Using the Large Regular Portrait Clipboard,  I created a fall wall hanging with Simple Stories' Pumpkin Spice!

I also added the new Chipboard Feathers! I colored them using three different spray inks blotting with a paper towel in between colors!  I love how they turned out! I used one of the Pumpkin Spice self adhesive Bradz and bakers twine from Whisker Graphics!

My sentiment is a Silhouette cut file called "Every Year I Fall For You Phrase" by Kolette Hall (#93417).   I backed each line with different patterned papers from Pumpkin Spice.

Showing some of the chipboard buttons and another Bradz from Simple Stories!

Pumpkin Spice also includes coordinating enamel dots as well!

Thanks for stopping by! Check out the Clear Scraps shop to see all of the new chipboard shapes and frames!  Have a great night!
