My Scraps and More: Hello Summer

It's hard to believe July is almost over!  My kiddos go back to school in a little over two weeks. I think this is the first summer I am just not ready. In June, we had so much rain and cool weather so it really hasn't seemed like summer until recently.
Today I am sharing a layout I made for My Scraps and More using Simple Stories' Summer Vibes collection. For my background, I used a cut file from Just Nick Studios!

I love the fun embellishments from Simple Stories! I layered a few of the die cuts, as well as chipboard sentiment and frame. 

I placed different patterns in random rectangles.  At the bottom of my page, I added a fun sticker as well as the coordinating Bradz and enamel dots.

My Scraps and More: You Are Mine

Hi there...hope your Tuesday is going well. Unfortunately I spent the day in bed with a stomach bug and bad headache.  I think I'm on the upswing though...at least I'm out of bed and dressed!
Today I'm sharing a layout I created for My Scraps and More using Cocoa Vanilla's Lovely collection. I am a big fan of Cocoa Vanilla and their products!  

I used a wooden veneer title from Evalicious as well as puffy stickers and flair! 

The collection includes this adorable metal arrow Charms!

My Scraps and More: #Dude

This past week on the My Scraps and More forum, I had a Saturday Scraplift Challenge!  I used Simple Stories' new So Rad collection! I love love love this line with its bold colors and fun embellishments!  

Here, I used some of the die cuts along with Chipboard Accents and self adhesive Bradz. 

My title is from the Chipboard Accent sheet which includes many words and shapes!

Also included in the line are coordinating enamel dots!  I love having a set that match the papers perfectly!

Paper Camellia: #Go

Hello and happy Thursday! Today I'm sharing a layout I created with this month's Paper Camellia Add-On Kit!  I am loving the travel theme of July's kits as there are lots of goodies from Crate Paper, My Mind's Eye, and Pink Paislee!  Also, Ria included Evalicious' new release: "This Way". 

I used one of the Crate Paper journaling cards to jot down about our day and added decorative brads from MME as well as epoxy shapes from Evalicious. 

I used these adorable cork Evalicious puffy letters for my title as well as another brad from MME!

My Scraps and More: Right Now

Hello! Sorry for my absence!  I've been working extra days at the office and then we went on a short trip to Michigan to see family. I haven't had much time at home at all!  

I'm sharing a layout I created recently using My Scraps and More Got Talent Challenge!  The challenge is to not use any patterned paper on your page!  So, I got out my washi tape stash and had fun layering!  

I added buttons and enamel shapes from my stash to coordinate with each colors!

I also added epoxy shapes and a photo clip from Studio Calico!  My title is American Craft Wood Grain Thickers. 

Along with buttons, I also used a couple pieces of flair from {a flair for buttons}!

Clear Scraps + Clearsnap Promo: Happy

Hello! It's Friday and the end of our Clear Scraps and Clearsnap promotion! The nice people over at Clearsnap sent our design team some fun new Colorbox Surfacez inks!  Can I just say wow?!  I love how the colors pop on the acrylic surface!  

I used the Turquoise Surfacez on the edges of my Large Scallop Portrait Clipboard.  And its so easy to apply!  I actually used a foam applicator with the re-inkers (like applying alcohol ink).  It takes a bit more time to dry but I love the effects!

Using the Safari Surfacez, I colored my Clearly Accent Dress Form Embellishment to give it some "pop".   And I love how it turned out!

I used Maggie Holmes' Open Book collection from Crate Paper! I love all of the fun embellishments such as this chipboard banner! 

Surfacez can be used for stamping sentiments such as this one from Studio AE/Technique Tuesday.

My Scraps and More: Handsome

This past weekend on the My Scraps and More blog, I had a layout up using the new Cocoa Vanilla line Made of Awesome!  I'm so happy Audrey brought this new company into the shop! I love the papers and embellishments!   And I always appreciate a good boy line!  

I used one of the journaling cards to jot down some info about my photo and then added one of the cute flair buttons and enamel dots that coordinate with the collection. From my stash, I used some washi tape from Bella Blvd and a wooden veneer star from Studio Calico.  

For my background, I used the "Counting Stars" cut file from The Cut Shoppe an added in different patterns to the centers.

My title is made from October Afternoon Alpha Stickers...they are so versatile and I use the on many projects!

Paper Camellia: Adventure

Hello!  Today I'm sharing a layout I created using this month's Paper Camellia Main Kit!  July is full of travel themed goodies and you won't be disappointed!  

This year Crate Paper, Pink Paislee, and My Mind's Eye released awesome travel lines!  And they all go well together!  For my title, I used the Gold Glitter Heidi Swapp "Adventure" sticker and accented it with a cute gold Jen Hadfield Pebbles Puffy Sticker. Also, My Mind's Eye has cute enamel shapes including these dots and arrows!  

Included in the Main Kit is a 12x12 Chipboard Sheet from Crate Paper's Journey collection.  I layered  a chipboard frame and cute road sign on top of my envelope.  

This ledger card is so adorable and perfect for journaling! I added letter stickers from Simple Stories as well as a geotag enamel shape from MME.  

This month again brings you Paper Camellia exclusives such as this acrylic heart/arrow as well as cork hearts and wooden veneer stars.  

I added "rays" of different patterns from the kit on top of my yardstick and then stitched through with my sewing machine.

My Scraps and More: Cool Dude

Hello and Happy Thursday! Today on the My Scraps and More forums I have a Thursday Throwback challenge! I love using up my old stash as I tend to hold onto my favorites!  I used Crate Paper's 

Boys Rule collection which is a classic boy line!  

For my title, I used a cute cut file from Just Nick  called "All Boy".  

I still have a lot of the chipboard ephemera from Boys Rule; I adhered two above my photo, as well as added a cute badge from {a flair for buttons} and a wooden veneer star from Studio Calico.

My Scraps and More: Hello Summer

Hello...I can't believe its Wednesday already! The week is getting away from me! I realized there are only 6 weeks until the first day of school!  Summer always seems to go fast...and it hasn't been very warm here. We've had a lot of rain in Central Illinois so we haven't had a chance to really go to the pool!

Today, I'm sharing a layout I created for My Scraps and More using the new Crate Paper Poolside collection.  I love all of the little bits and pieces in the embellishments! The Ephemera pack is full of fun die cuts!  I scrapped a cute photo of my niece and nephew at one of our local splash parks.  

I used the cute "hello" banner from the Chipboard Sheet with a bright sticker.  I layered both over a coordinating chipboard frame.  

I layered ephemera pieces with additional stickers.  I love the wooden enamel buttons!! They are one of my favorites!
