My Scraps and More: Teamwork

Hello...I'm behind on blogging right now! Things have been crazy around here..just trying to get ready for company this weekend for Easter.  And in less than two weeks my husband, daughter, and I leave for a mission trip to Haiti!  I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed....trying to give it to God and focus on the big picture. Honestly, I'm anxious and been a little crabby.  I know I over worry...I do it to myself all the time.  Trying to remember to breathe.

Tonight, I'm sharing a layout I did for My Scraps and More using Ashley Horton's fun sketch!  Ashley is the guest sketch artist and I loved working with her creation!

For my page, I used Basic Grey's new Adrift collection from the MSAM shop!  I love the colors and prints....very boy themed!  I thought it went well with this photo I took at my son's first Upward basketball game in January.

I used these "old" Amy Tangerine American Craft Thickers for my title. I think these were included in her first release? LOL

I used the pie chart cut file from the Silhouette shop and stitched through with my sewing machine. I also added some title stickers as well as die cuts from the Adrift collection.

I also adding in some enamel dots from my stash as well as Studio Calico wooden veneer stars (they are my favorite!).

Thanks for looking!  Check out all of the new collections Audrey has in at My Scraps and More!  Starting tomorrow you can use code NOFOOLIN20 for 20% off all regular priced items!
Have a great night!

March Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

Hello! March is coming to a close so that means another fun Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop
This month, I used Teresa Collins Designs'  Daily Stories collection!

Here is the blog list if you are following along!
Jennifer http://livethemoment-jen.blogspot.com *you are here*

I used a cut file from the Silhouette shop (#64792)
for my title to go with some selfies I "stole" from my daughter's Instagram.  I used some of the cute enamel shapes to accent!

Here, I used a tag for my journaling and then added coordinating enamel dots, washi tape, and a wooden ampersand.

Showing some of the die cut sentiments! I paired them with a layered butterfly sticker.

I used a Polaroid frame cut file from the Silhouette shop on one of my photos!

Thanks for hopping with us! I hope you find lots of inspiration to use up some of your own stash!
Have a great day!

Clear Scraps Theatre Chipboard Album: Spring Break

Hello and Happy Wednesday! This week is spring break for my kiddos so I'm sharing a mini album I have up on the Clear Scraps blog today.  I used the Theatre Chipboard Album and Teresa Collins Designs' Something Wonderful.  I first painted the pages with white acrylic paint before adding my papers.
I love the cut outs along the bottom and top of the front page. I adhere a fun paper to the backside to show through the slots.

I used one of the new 4x6 Teresa Collins embossing folders from Craftwell to give some texture to my Butterfly Mixer.  I then used  Teresa's butterfly die to cut patterned paper and layered it underneath.

This book was the perfect size to document a fun spring break when Hailey and I road-tripped up to Minnesota to see our good friends!

Look at our babies!! Hailey and her friend were just 4 yrs old!

Thank you for looking....be sure to stop by Clear Scraps and see the many new albums that were released this past January!  Plus, there are a lot of fun new embellishments!  I just received my box of new goodies and I can't wait to share with you!
Have a great day!

My Scraps and More: Hello Ten

Time is flying around here.....not sure where it all goes but I'm sorry I haven't kept up with blogging.  This past week, I had a challenge on the My Scraps and More forums for a Word Up Wednesday.  I asked participants to hide their journaling underneath a photo or a flap on their page.  I used
Echo Park's new Anything Goes collection that I ordered from the My Scraps and More shop!  I love the bright patterns and colors in this line!

Two of the sheets in the collection have multi-sized journaling cards that you can cut out. I used this 3x4 card for mine and added a cute pennant sticker.

There are also two 12x12 sticker sheets, as well. I love the multicolored alpha stickers!

Showing more of the cute coordinating stickers!

I also added a few enamel dots and stars from Freckled Fawn that I had in my stash.

Also from Freckled Fawn is the pink arrow clip!

Thanks for stopping by!  Visit the MSAM shop for this collection and much more!  Audrey is getting new stuff every week!  Have a great night!

Paper Camellia: Currently

Hello...hope your weekend went well.  I spent most...ok, all of it in bed sick.  So, I'm a little run down and crabby today. I didn't get to enjoy the beautiful weather or do any scrapping.  I just feel like I have a lot to do this week so losing two days doesn't help my anxiety.

Anyway, I'm going to share a layout I created using the March Main Paper Camellia Kit.  This month has a lot of I Am from Simple Stories, which is one of my favorite releases this year!  So, I decided to scrap a layout about myself!

Loving the gold foil chipboard feathers!

The main kit comes with a 6x12 I Am chipboard sheet which ha a lot of goodies!  I layered a few here over a gold foil tag from Jen Hadfield's Pebbles collection.

I used the Heidi Swapp glittered numbers for my journaling and adding in some cute Jen Hadfield jewel stickers and chipboard pieces from I AM.

This chipboard banner is one of my favorite pieces!  I love banners first but also love the gold foil accents.

For my title, I used a cut file from the Silhouette shop called Currently Outline (#24966).

Thanks for stopping by!  Check out the Paper Camellia shop for this month's kits (which most are sold out already!)  April's sneak peeks are up on the blog too!
Have a great day!

My Scraps and More: Pancakes for Dinner

Hello! It's the weekend finally!  The temps are supposed to be in the low 60's which is great news!

Today on the My Scraps and More blog I have a layout using MSAM Sketch #101 with
October Afternoon's Saturday Mornings collection. I love the retro feel of this line; the prints are so cute!
The pancake print made me want to scrap these older photos of my daughter...she used to eat pancakes for almost every meal.

So, here is the sketch created by owner, Audrey Yeager!

And here is my layout!

I used letter stickers from OA's Daily Flash line for my title.

I cut strips of different patterns and stitched through.  I also added some stamping with my Glitz triangles roller stamp.

Using different sized hand punches, I cut circles and adhered randomly on my page. I also added wooden veneer starbursts from Studio Calico, as well as enamel dots.  The journaling spot from Saturday Mornings Do-Dads is perfect to jot down some information about my page.

I always love the OA Tin Pins as well! The stack of pancakes is perfect for my page!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Check out the MSAM shop for many collections...including some new Jillibean Soup!  Use code Lucky20 for 20% off during the month of March! And I promise Audrey is super fast with shipping! I usually have my items within three days!  :)
Have a great day!

My Scraps and More: Magic

Hello! I can't believe its Thursday already! This week has flown by....it hasn't been one major thing that's been keeping me busy; just a lot of little things!  I finally had time to sit and blog a bit! This past weekend, I had a layout up on the My Scraps and More blog using Simple Stories' Say Cheese II collection.  I love the colors of this line!  You get the traditional Mickey red, white and black with yellows and blues mixed in!  And the embellishments are phenomenal!

I used one of the cute wood veneer words for my title and added a photo clip, enamel dots, and decorative brads. BTW, the brads are self-adhesive which I think is pure genius!  No more poking myself in the finger!

Also included in the embellishments are fun stitched tags! I paired one here with a wooden veneer camera!

I love the variety of the photo clips!  Lots of different sizes and shapes!

Thanks for stopping by! Check out this collection and much more in the My Scraps and More shop!
Have a great night!
