February Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop

It's time for another "Scrapping Our Stash" blog hop! I love being able to use up some of my older lines! If you are following the blog roll, you have come from Lee-Anne's  blog!  Below is the full list, just in case!

I used a collection I've been hoarding: October Afternoon's 9-5.  I bought pretty much everything in the line (and I still have a lot left after creating this page!).  I wanted to scrap this funny photo of me and my coworkers and 9-5 was perfect!

I layered some of the Tid Bits and Doo-Dads on top of my photo as well as added some coordinating buttons.  I love the colors of this collection!

Showing one of the cute Tin Pins!

I used a portion of the mini flags and used them as pennants.

My title is the Simple Stories' Laugh Cursive cut file from the Silhouette store (#57030).

Next up is Charity's blog! I hope this inspires you to dig out some of your older collections and make a page or two! Have a great day!

My Scraps and More: Beautiful

Today on the My Scraps and More forums, I have a challenge up for Word Up Wednesday! My challenge is to use the word "beautiful" on your page!  I used the new Pinkfresh Studio's
Up in the Clouds that I purchased in the MSAM shop!

I used one of the wood strips under my photo with some bakers twine from Whisker Graphics.

Love these American Craft gold glitter Thickers! I had these in my stash and thought the gold would go nicely with the pinks and blues!

I used some Heidi Swapp Color Shine on this beautiful cut file from The Cut Shoppe!  I then added in wood beads and enamel hearts from Up in the Clouds. And I'm loving the ombre air mail print washi tape!! There are three different colors...I ordered the red and blue.

Thanks for stopping by!  Check out this collection and MUCH more in the My Scraps and More Shop!  Have a great day!

My Scraps and More Saturday Scraplift: Smile

This weekend, I have a scrap lift challenge up at the My Scraps and More forums! I used
Simple Stories' new Life Documented collection that I purchased in the MSAM shop.

I was inspired by Brenda's bright sun rays so I decided to scraplift her page!

And here is my layout...I used the Amanda McGee Sunburst cut file from the Silhouette shop ( #47228).

My title is cut from white cardstock and the Simple Stories Cursive Smile cut file (#56585).

In one of the "rays" I placed some of the Life Documented Enamel Dots as well as chipboard pieces.

Showing more of the chipboard pieces, as well as coordinating die cuts!

I love how versatile this line is...you can use it with pretty much any theme!  Check out the MSAM shop for this and many more collections (including Simple Stories' I Am and Say Cheese II)

My Scraps and More and 17Turtles: Hello Winter

This week, the My Scraps and More Design Team and 17Turtles are teaming up for lots of inspiration and prizes! Stop by the MSAM blog to see how you can win a GC to the shop as well as 17Turtles Digital Cut Files.

I recently purchased Simple Stories' Snow Fun Collection pack from the MSAM shop. I knew it was perfect to scrap this fun photo of my husband and son building a snowman after our last big snow storm.

I chose the Running Arrows cut file from the 17Turtles Shop to use with white cardstock and added in strips of different patterned papers.

Keeping with the white theme, I cut my title from white cardstock as well. I then added some of the coordinating stickers from Snow Fun.  I love the wood grain, as well as the different shades of blue.

Showing more of the accent stickers!

I also added some of my Studio Calico wooden veneer snowflakes and sequins from my stash.

Thank you for stopping by today!  Check out this and many more cut files from the 17Turtles Etsy shop! Also, Audrey is getting LOTS of new releases in at the My Scrap and More shop!
Have a great day!

My Scraps and More: Cherish

Hello!  This past weekend, I had a layout up on the My Scraps and More blog using Crate Paper's Kiss Kiss line (which is one of my absolute favorites!).  I really wanted to try to use multiple photos on my page...I feel like I've been doing a lot of single photo layouts.  Geez, remember when it was all about the double layouts? Now those make me sweat! LOL  For events, I feel its important to have a few photos. So, I hope this challenges you to use more than two pics on your page!

Gold goes with everything! I used American Craft gold Thickers for my title.  They pair nicely with the gold accents in the paper line.

Loving the cute accent stickers from Kiss Kiss. I used a few over  journaling card where I typed up the date and place of my photos.

If you are looking for some adorable cut files, be sure to check out The Cut Shoppe!  This pie chart shaped file is from the "Let Them Eat Pie" collection.      I then added an accent sticker as well as a cork heart and gold enamel dot.

Thank for coming by today...even though Valentine's Day is over, I'm still motivated to do some pages with older photos!  Have a great day!

Paper Camellia: Beautiful

Well, it has been my turn to be sick....I was down most of the weekend with strep and a double ear infection. Still not feeling good but my doctor put me on a stronger antibiotic so hopefully that will help!  I'm so ready for spring!

Today, I'm up on the Paper Camellia blog using this month's Main Kit.  Ria always does a fabulous job putting together the right mixture of embellishments and paper! February's kit doesn't disappoint! There is lots of Crate Paper's Kiss Kiss and We R Memory Keepers Love Notes

I used one of the exclusive Paper Camellia wooden veneer words for my title!  The main kit includes words and shapes.

Also in the Main Kit are lots of embellishments such as the 6x12 Accent stickers from Kiss Kiss, as well as the gold glitter American Craft Thicker Words and Shapes.

I added a stitched circle as well as accent stickers and enamel dot (from my stash).

Thanks for stopping by today! Check out the Paper Camellia shop as well as the sneaks for March's kit!  You will love what's coming up!  Have  great day!

Pink Paislee's Bella Rouge: You're Pretty Much My Favorite....

Hello! Continuing with some love themed projects, I am sharing an altered canvas I created using Pink Paislee's Bella Rouge collection and a cute cut file from Silhouette designed by Lori Whitlock (file #54870).

Love these rosette flowers that come with the collection!! I added a couple along with some of the chipboard accents.

I used some modeling paste and Teresa Collins Designs' heart stencil to add some dimension to my canvas.

I used some gold foil paper to back the word "favorite", as well as the small heart at the end of the saying.

Have a great day!

Paper Camellia February Main Kit: Love

In honor of Valentine's Day coming up this weekend, I have a cute layout to share that I created with Paper Camellia's Main Kit for February. There is so much beautiful paper and little goodies in this kit!

I used one of the layered tags from Kiss Kiss along with a mint colored arrow clip from Freckled Fawn.  Also in the kit is some cute pink ribbon...perfect to tie onto tags!

Loving the gold accents like one of these stickers from Kiss Kiss.

I use Teresa Collins Designs' heart stencil with modeling paste on my patterned paper. I love the effect it gives!

I created a banner across the top of my page with some of the accent stickers and patterned papers from the kit. You can spy one of the exclusive wood veneer hearts too!

Thanks for stopping by today! Are you working on any Valentine themed projects?
