Sketch N Scrap April Inspired by Sketch

Happy Saturday!  Today I am sharing this month's Sketch N Scrap Inspired by Sketch.  This sketch comes from resident sketch artist, Kelly Holifield!  I love the layers and little details!

I used Websters Pages' Sprinkled With Love by Alison Kreft. I love love this line...I literally stared at it all during the CHA show this past January. Websters Pages was right across from the Chic Tags booth and I was so drawn to this line.  I even went over to Alison Kreft and acted like a total fan girl geek telling her how much I love her work.  Ha ha!!

Love this hand drawn stars from the Silhouette shop!  And I added some of my new flair I just received from {a flair for buttons}!  I thought the colors went perfect!

I have been wanting to use my new AE Studio stamps from Technique Tuesday! This set is a newer release. I heart Ali Edwards!

Sprinkled With Love comes with cute little clips such as this light bulb! Adorable!

More hand drawn stars as well as dog flair!  :)

I added this wooden veneer star from Studio Calico's Print Shop collection. I love using them on my layouts although I'm trying to ration them (I even bought two packs!!)  Yes, I have a problem! LOL

Thanks for looking today!  Check out the Scrap N Sketch blog for more designer inspiration!
And coming next month isthe 2nd Birthday Bash! We will be having a month's worth of challenges..so be on the lookout!

Practical Scrappers Scrap Your Stash Blog Hop!

It's time for another Practical Scrappers Scrap Your Stash Blog Hop!  This month's theme is Easter/spring!  I love the "use your stash" challenges...I am a certified paper hoarder!  In case you didn't come here straight from the Practical Scrapper blog, here is the designer list! I'm happy to be part of a hop with so many talented ladies!

Jennifer Haggerty http://livethemoment-jen.blogspot.com *you are here!
Wendy Coffman: www.stampingrules.com

I used a line I have been holding onto FOREVER:  Pink Paislee's House of Three Daily Junque.  Didn't that come out three years ago? Maybe more?  I don't know but its been collecting dust in my drawer so I decided to get it out!

My title is created with the wooden letters that
coordinate with the collection as well as a cut file from the Silhouette shop.  I also added
some mini gears from Tim Holtz.

I layered many of the coordinating journaling cards from the Ephemera pack, as well as added more mini gears.

I love decorative pins! Here, I used this cute yellow resin flower from Jillibean Soup as well as a trinket pin from Tim Holtz.  I like to hold them in place using a foam dot.

The Ephemera pack came with a small vellum envelope so I thought it was perfect to hide my journaling!
I used one of the mini number tags from Daily Junque to jot down some journaling.

If anyone is interested, I have lots of pieces of the Ephemera Pack left. Anyone who wants it I will send it to you! Free of charge! :) First one to call dibs gets it!

Second, I am leaving for Chicago this afternoon to help Teresa Collins teach at Creative Cards and Crafts! To celebrate, I will be giving away one of her Xyron Mega Runners!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Next up on the blog roll is Audrey Yeager!
Now go leave her some love!!
Hope this inspires you to get out some of your older papers and create! Have a great day!

Hello all...sorry for my absence again!  Getting ready for Easter last week and working has put a damper on my scrap time!  Plus, I've been fighting this dumb respiratory/allergy thing. I have no energy to spare lately.  It's getting old. I'm ready to feel better and just be myself.

P: pennants S: stickers.

My background circle was cut on my Silhouette and here I added the die cut pennants that coordinate with the line.

My title was created with some of the tiny Parkbench letter stickers and American Craft Thickers.

There are also star stickers  on the letter sheet....I also added a cork star from My Mind's Eye's DIY line.

Teresa Collins Designs' Hello My Name Is: Love With All Your Heart

Hello friends...sorry for my absence. I haven't been keeping up with my blogging. I started covering a maternity leave at my old job (I'm a dental hygienist) and we've been dealing with sickness going through our house.  I'm fighting a bad cold and seriously, ain't nobody got time for that.  We are having a houseful for Easter and it seems I have a to-do list a mile long.  I realize though that it will get done. And no it doesn't have to be perfect.

So, today I have a layout up on the Teresa Collins Designs' Design Team blog using the
Hello My Name Is collection.  I really like the crisp look of this line. The blacks, reds, and greys mix so well together.  But hey...this is Teresa we're talking about and the woman knows her colors!

I took this adorable photo of my nephew and husband this past Christmas and knew I wanted to use this line!

There is never a shortage of selection on embellishments! You can spy the corner of the cute Photo Overlay I used.  I'm telling you...they are fun to add to your projects!  I then used the coordinating Decorative Tape, a chipboard heart from the Chipboard Elements, and a couple pieces from the Ephemera Pack. I love to layer my embellies as you can see!  I then added a cute arrow stamp from the Clear Stamp Set.

Any of my scrappy friends know that I love me some banners. I like to create them...probably a little too much! LOL  But here is another one!  Teresa includes cute pennants in her collections so she is speaking my language!   Both the Chipboard Elements and Ephemera Pack have pennants that I used; I also hand punched pennants from the 6x6 Paper Pad. I enjoy using the smaller prints for items like these. To finish, I added some decorative brads after stitching through the top.

A few of the A sides of this collection have different size journaling cards that you can cut out. Perfect for layering under your photos or using in pocket scrapbooking!  Here, I used this tabbed card from the "Love" print.

Loving the Die Cut Wood pieces too!  This camera is adorable and I love using them to accent my pages.

I used this multi-word chipboard heart from the Chipboard Elements...I thought it was perfect for my title!

I cut my title with my Silhouette and white cardstock...I'm really loving the white-on-white look right now!  This adorable cut file is by Loni Stevens and the file number is 25021.

Thanks for looking today!  Be sure to check out Teresa's blog to see her NEW mid release collections:  Urban Market and Something Wonderful! They start shipping next week!  I cannot wait to get ahold of them! A week from tomorrow, I am again traveling up to Chicago to help Teresa teach!  She will be at Creative Cards and Crafts in Villa Park, IL April 25th and 26th.  As of now, all of her classes are sold out!  But if you are in the area, stop by to say hi!
Have a great day!

Chic Tags: Rock the Block

Happy Friday! I'm up on the Chic Tags blog today with a layout in which I combined a few collections. One of the many things I love about Chic Tags is that you can mix and match tags and papers!

Here, I used the School House Label Stickers under my photo.  The colors are lovely.

The Everyday Life II tags are versatile and can be used with many lines...even if they are not Chic Tags.  I used this tag for my journaling. I also added a label sticker and photo topper from the Good Tidings collection.

More Good Tidings goodies....in the corner, I used a small piece of patterned paper followed by layering with label stickers.  I used the "#besties" stamp from the School House Clear Stamp set.

Gold is a hot trend right now! I love these gold foil letter stickers and rub ons from Good Tidings!   It goes to show they aren't only for Christmas! :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you are having a good day!
