Spring Fling

Hello! It's a rainy and cold day here in Bloomington. Very different than the humidity and temps in the 90's that we've been having.  I'm not complaining because we so need the rain! Our poor lawn has been scorched. Plus, this gives the kids and I an excuse to lay low in the house today. Hailey is still in her pj's in fact! LOL  I've also been able to escape downstairs to my scrap room for a bit as well.  :)

Since I always love sunshine and great weather, today I'm sharing a two page layout I did for The Scrapbooking Studio using Teresa Collins' Spring Fling line.  I am a HUGE fan of Teresa! I always love her lines!

I used this line to scrapbook pictures from a past Easter. I love the brightness of this line!

This line has many coordinating die cuts and buttons!

Here is a card I created using the same line:

And since we're getting ready for summer! (well I guess it's unofficially here)....I'm sharing a mini book I created using Little Yellow Bicycle's Paradise line.  As with all the LYB lines, Paradise has some great embellishments!  I always love the coordinating stick pins and stickers.

I also love the rosette/flower kits as well. Great way to embellish your pages!

Another great thing about this line is the stitched garland! Adorable!

Well, that's all for today! I'm going to head back downstairs to do some more creating. I also think a nap is in order! LOL Thanks for reading!

Make A Wish

Sorry for my absence! We are all moved and mostly settled into our new house. Still some boxes to unpack, as well as decorating left to do, but we are comfortable.  It's been a great change for our family.  The kids can go out and play without having to worry about traffic. Plus, there are three girls Hailey's age just down the street.  Chris and I are loving having a newer home and enjoying the small things that come along with it!  Never once have we thought we made the wrong decison.

Today I am sharing a few projects I did for the design team at The Scrapbooking Studio.  I feel so lucky to be able to play with all the paper and crafty stuff!  It's almost overwhelming the amount of things I wish I had time to play with. My husband just frowns at me when I tell him I need to lock myself in my scrap room for about a week.  LOL

Here is a two page layout I did using American Craft's Daydreams. I love the bright colors as well as the embellishments that go along with this line.  My favorite is the pre-made rosettes!

For the title and date, I used American Craft Thickers:

Here, I used my pennant punch from Marvy Uchida to create this small banner.

Next, I created this tag using the same line:

For the sun, clouds, and "happy day", I used a Maya Road stamp set.  I accented my tag with a  coordinating cute felt flower embellishment.

I got this idea from Pinterest for my card. A great way to use up scraps!  I layered my scraps and then stitched at each seam.

Next, I accented the card with a rosette, two Maya Road pins, and punched butterflies.

Lastly, here is a fun mini I created using Authentique's Gathering line.  I really love this company! They always have great colors!  This one is no exception.  I used the Maya Road Mason Jar mini coaster album.  Very cute but you do have to do a lot of sanding of the edges if you want to cover the entire album.

Well that is all for today! It is a rainy day here in Bloomington so I'm going to do some creating in my scraproom! Until next time!
